2027 BOSTON MARATHON

Run Boston. Change Lives.

Run the 2027 Boston Marathon with Rebekah’s Angels and turn every mile into support for children and families impacted by trauma. As an official charity partner of the Boston Athletic Association, Team RA gives runners the opportunity to take on one of the world’s most iconic races while raising critical funds for our mission.

THE TEAM RA EXPERIENCE

From Acceptance to Boylston Street,
We Do This Together

Team RA is built around connection. Throughout the months leading up to Boston, our runners stay connected, get to know one another, and become part of a community that extends well beyond race day.

MONTHLY TEAM CALLS
Regular team calls give runners a chance to connect, ask questions, share updates, and go through the journey together.
PRIVATE TEAM RA COMMUNITY
Runners receive access to our private Facebook group with current Team RA runners and alumni for ongoing communication, encouragement, questions, and important updates throughout the season.
TEAM RA SWAG
You’ll receive Rebekah’s Angels gear to wear throughout training and on race day so you can proudly represent Team RA all the way to Boston.
PRE-RACE TEAM DINNER
On Sunday night before the marathon, runners and their families come together at The Lenox Hotel for dinner, celebration, and one last chance to connect as a team before race morning.
RUNNER COMMITTMENT

Know What You Are Commiting To

Being part of Team RA is an incredible experience, but it also comes with an important commitment to our mission. Each runner agrees to meet the fundraising minimum and stay actively engaged with the team throughout the season.

$15,000

2027 FUNDRAISING MINIMUM

Each Team RA runner commits to raising $15,000 in support of Rebekah’s Angels. Every dollar helps fund the work we do for children and families, making your Boston journey part of something much bigger than race day.

GOOD TO KNOW

Team RA Frequently Asked Questions

Boston comes with a lot of details. Here are answers to some of the most common questions about joining Team RA, fundraising, race weekend, and what to expect.

What is the fundraising minimum for a Team RA charity entry?

Runners receiving a Rebekah’s Angels charity entry for the 2027 Boston Marathon commit to raising a minimum of $15,000.

What if I already qualified for the Boston Marathon?

Qualified runners are welcome to join Team RA using their own race entry and still be part of the full Team RA experience. The fundraising minimum for qualified runners is $2,500.

What happens if I do not reach my fundraising minimum?

By accepting a spot on Team RA, runners commit to meeting their applicable fundraising minimum. If the full amount has not been raised by the required deadline, the runner is responsible for the remaining balance.

Does Rebekah’s Angels cover travel, accommodations, or race registration?

No. Runners are responsible for their own Boston Marathon registration fee, transportation, hotel accommodations, and other personal race weekend expenses.

Is the pre-race Team RA dinner included?

Yes. On Sunday night before the marathon, Team RA runners and their families are invited to join us for dinner, celebration, and time together before race day.

What does Team RA provide throughout the season?

Team RA runners receive monthly team calls, access to our private Facebook group for current runners and alumni, Rebekah’s Angels swag for training and race day, ongoing communication and updates, and our pre-race team dinner in Boston.

Does submitting an application guarantee a charity entry?

No. Charity entries are limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Our team carefully reviews every application, and only runners selected for Team RA will be contacted with next steps.

Additional fundraising deadlines, race requirements, and participation terms will be provided to selected runners before they officially accept their Team RA spot.
