Behind every number is a real person with a story that cannot be measured by a statistic. These are just a few of the families and communities that have allowed Rebekah’s Angels to be part of their journey.
Support For the Road Ahead
After a devastating car accident, Alexis Gould lost both of her legs and faced an entirely new reality. When it came time for her to travel for prosthetic fittings, Rebekah’s Angels helped cover hotel accommodations, food, and other practical needs so she could focus on the next step in her recovery instead of the added financial burden.
Trauma Relief Grants are designed for moments just like this. When families are already carrying so much, helping with everyday expenses can create space to breathe, recover, and focus on what comes next.
Healing Beyond the Physical
In 2019, Tracy Otto survived a horrific domestic violence attack that left her paralyzed from the chest down and without sight in her left eye. Two years later, she discovered adaptive archery and found something that gave her purpose, freedom, and a new goal to chase. In just a few years, Tracy went from picking up a bow for the first time to representing Team USA at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
Rebekah’s Angels is honored to be part of Tracy’s journey by helping provide access to therapy and supporting her continued pursuit of archery. Her story is a powerful reminder that healing can take many forms, and sometimes moving forward means having support for both the things we carry and the dreams we are still determined to chase.
A Little Light Goes a Long Way
During the holiday season, the Rebekah’s Angels team took to the community with gift cards in hand and one simple goal: to brighten someone’s day. There was no application, no requirement, and no way of knowing who might need that moment most. Just an opportunity to show up, give freely, and remind people that they matter.
Angel Missions are an important part of how Rebekah’s Angels brings hope beyond the families we directly serve. Whether it is handing out gift cards, volunteering in the community, or finding an unexpected way to make someone’s day a little brighter, these missions remind us that even a simple gesture can create a ripple far bigger than the moment itself.
